First Up, These Super-Durable Press-on Nails

If you haven’t hopped on the press-on nail bandwagon, what are you waiting for?? I am obsessed with press-on nails for many reasons: 1. They’re so cheap, wayyyyy cheaper than getting your nails done at a salon, 2. They’re super easy to put on and 3. If done right, they can last you weeks.

Personally, I hate going to the nail salon. So being able to stock up on nails of all colors, finishes and designs that I can customize?? Yes please! You can read more about my press-on nail obsession and my favorite press-on nails here.

If you want to treat yourself at home to a nice mani, I highly recommend these nails! Kiss is one of my favorite brands because they’re affordable and super durable. They’re not thin and flimsy like other press-ons.

My Winter Press-On Picks

I’m currently wearing these white matte Gel Fantasy nails (pictured above!) and they look so real. Their matte Gel Fantasy collection is my absolute favorite, they’re thick, last FOREVER and look salon-done. And they’re only $8.99 a pack. I love them so much I have two entire drawers in my vanity filled with them.

The other nails pictured above are these beautiful “Magic” press-ons that include long square French ombre, silver glitter accent nails and accent nails with adorable drawn-on snowflakes. If you don’t like long nails, no worries! All Kiss press-ons are super easy to cut down and file to your liking.

Also pictured above are these beautiful matte burgundy nails that I already wore this winter and let me tell you, everyone asked where I got my nails done after see these on me.

These Falsies That Are Easier To Apply Than You Think

Yup, another Kiss product! Not only do I love their press-on nails, I also love their false lashes. But here’s the thing…I hate wearing falsies! That is until I found this product. I tried everything: magnetic lashes, different glues, but no matter what I did my lashes would always end up lifting in the corners after a couple hours of wear. I decided to try the Kiss Falscara lashes because…honestly because they were on sale.

These lashes promise the lash extension look for $25. So how could I not try them? I heard they were super hard to apply but to my surprise they were much easier to apply than regular falsies!

How To Apply and My Own Personal Hack

You apply a coat of lash glue to your natural lashes, stick these lashes on under your lashes, brush on a coat of the “seal” bond and you’re done! Not only were they easy to apply, but they didn’t budge all day, they were lighter than mascara and they looked amazing! I cannot recommend these enough.

The downside is I have gaps in my eyelashes from having Trichotillomania, so depending on the state of my lashes I can’t always wear these (because these lashes adhere to your actual lashes instead of your lash line). However, if you’re a fellow Trichster like me, I found the ultimate hack. Use your favorite strip lashes with the falscara bond and seal and voila! This works because it will adhere to whatever lashes you already have but since it’s one strip gaps are no problem.

This Must-Have Customizable Travel Set

Even if you’re not planning on traveling this winter, you need this brand-new travel set from Sol de Janeiro. If you haven’t heard of this company, they’re a sustainable, vegan company known for their Brazilian Bum Bum cream. I am a huge fan of their products. They’re made of high quality ingredients and smell so so SO good.

The downside is, these products can get a bit pricey! But this customizable travel set solves that problem. You can pick 4 products and get the free cosmetic pouch pictured above for roughly the price of one regular-sized product! You can pick between their famous bum bum creams, body scrubs, body cleanser, dry shampoo, glow body oil, shampoo and conditioner.

Sol de Janeiro also has frequent sales (which they’re currently having as I write this article) which means you’ve caught me, my cart is full of half-off Glowmotions Oil that I’m stocking up on so that I can get a little summer glow on my ghost-like winter complexion.

This Heavenly Hair Mist

I told you, I really like Sol de Janeiro! I wear this Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 40 Perfume Mist daily in my hair and I kid you not, I’ve had people stop me in the street asking me what I’m wearing. I spray it all over my clothes, my hair and my room. It’s my favorite scent ever (which says a lot. I have a whole Perfume of the Month column for crying out loud!).

The Exotic Note Breakdown

I actually bought this as a blind buy after reading the reviews on their website and the note breakdown. The official note breakdown is:

  • Top Notes: Black Amber Plum, Creme de Cassis
  • Middle Notes: Jasmine Blooms, Brazilian Orchid
  • Dry Down: Vanilla Woods, Warm Musk

As you might guess from the notes, this scent is warm and creamy. I typically stay away from vanilla because I don’t like anything that’s super sweet smelling but this one is perfect. And I know what you’re thinking, isn’t this a summer scent? And the answer to that is: Yes, and I don’t care. I cannot limit myself to only using this in the summer.

I also highly recommend buying the new 240ml bottle. It’s HUGE, and will last you forever. For $35 it’s so worth it.

Kiss Rough Winter Skin Goodbye With These Adorable Loofas

I came across these loofas years ago in a beauty subscription box and fell in love since. These Spongelle Loofa Buffers are not only super unique with their flower shape, but they also exfoliate, hydrate and cleanse your skin in one! And they smell delicious.

My favorite scents are Papaya Yuzu and Coconut Verbena as pictured above. I love their body Loofa buffers and their Pedi buffers that leave your feet feeling brand new. Definitely must-haves in the harsh winter months!

Here’s a review I wrote of Spongelle a while back featuring some of my other favorite products from them!

These Super Trendy Sunglasses

Sunglasses in the winter are a necessity. These Quay Yada Yada sunglasses are probably my favorite winter shades. They automatically elevate any outfit. Oversized sweatshirt and sweatpants? Yup. Chic jeans, top and sherpa jacket? YUP.

I am in love with Quay sunglasses and have a pretty sizable collection of their sunglasses. And you guessed it, I wrote an article about it in the past. I’ve been wearing Quay sunglasses for years and honestly, they’re better than some designer frames I have. They’re way more durable and always on trend for a fraction of the price. I also love how they have multiple color variations of one frame style.

Which of these products are you going to treat yourself to this winter? Let me know in the comments! ❄️
