A Yummy California Chardonnay Before Summer Ends 🥂(Wine of the Week: 9/15/2021)
This week’s Wine of the Week is super fruity, flavorful and under $10 and that is…Bogle Chardonnay. I originally picked this up for a get together and let me tell you, it went quick. It was a fan favorite and for good reason.
The official tasting notes are Nutmeg, Vanilla, Pineapple and Guava. This wine is barrel aged for 9 months in American Oak and has an alcohol content of 13.5%. The fruit is very prevalent but not overwhelming which makes this the perfect wine for the transitional days from summer to fall. It’s buttery smooth finish and medium sweetness makes this a good choice for even the pickiest winos.
The Lasting Finish
This is one of those go-to wines for me when I’m just want to stick to a tried and true wine, or when I’m going over someone’s house because it’s such a winner across the board. I also love this in the cooler seasons because although it’s a fruity wine, the nutmeg and vanilla are in the forefront making this a great white wine outside of summer.
I also loveeeeee the bottle. The label design and font looks expensive, and the wine tastes amazing for its price point. Bring this over to your next wine party to impress some friends, or have it sit pretty in your wine cabinet. Either way, for under $10 you really can’t go wrong with this wine!
Have you guys tried this wine or want to try it? What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments below. Cheers! 🥂
